DESCRIPTION: WAKE UP DAHLING is an elegant, spooky black‑and‑silver wreath infused with Halloween, Victorian, Goth, and Whimsigoth aesthetics.
INSPIRATION: The Victorians often kept lockets of hair, ornate hair brooches, and beautifully crafted mourning adornments to honor the life of a loved one who had passed.
My inspiration for wreath comes from the idea of a grieving Lady of the Manor at her beloved’s coffin Side during a wake. The coffin being draped in silk bows, delicate flowers, and soft frills of the time. As she lays atop the coffin, her head resting in the crook of her arm, ribbons slipping from her hair and silk flowers trembling with each breath, she pleads softly for her beloved to “Wake up dahling.”
It’s the kind of Victorian grief that lived in lace, lockets of hair, and ornate mourning brooches—an aching devotion expressed through beauty, ritual, and the art of remembrance. It’s a tribute to that era’s devotion, sentiment, and the exquisite beauty they wove into their mourning rituals.
INDICATIONS: This wreath brings refined gothic elegance to any space—perfect for seasonal décor or year‑round lovers of the mysterious and macabre. Ideal for Gothic Decor, Funeral Wreaths, Grave Side Decor, Halloween, Dia De Los Muertos, birthdays, parties, anniversaries, weddings, Friend Gifts, office décor, Mother’s Day, horror fans, cemetery décor, funeral gifts, and more.
