Here’s a version that feels more like an art piece in your spooky-season collection and fits an interior design/art gallery style presentation:

Grandma Lillian

Every family has that one relative who deserves a place of honor on the wall. Meet Grandma Lillian.

Lovingly framed and accompanied by her faithful bat companion, Grandma Lillian is ready to become part of your delightfully haunted family history. Inspired by classic horror nostalgia and the idea that our favorite spooky characters might actually be long-lost relatives, this one-of-a-kind assemblage celebrates Halloween whimsy, upcycling, and imaginative storytelling.

The piece began with a remarkable vintage frame discovered during one of my treasure hunts. From there came the vision of creating a collection of horror icons as cherished family portraits. When I stumbled across a photograph tucked away in my "Drawer of Dreams" and later found a forgotten bat waiting patiently in my Halloween stash, Grandma Lillian was officially brought back to life.

Artist Notes

I love creating stories out of forgotten objects. Grandma Lillian began with a frame too wonderful to leave behind, evolved into the idea of horror film and television characters becoming "family portraits," and finally came together when I discovered the perfect photograph and an unexpected bat hiding in my Halloween supplies. Sometimes artwork builds itself from the treasures that find their way into your hands.

A one-of-a-kind spooky family heirloom for those who appreciate vintage horror, found objects, and a touch of wonderfully weird family history. 🦇🖤
